Tea For One

Tea For One features three mugs that are permanently connected through six handles. The centerpiece is a teapot with three spouts and three handles that extend over the mugs. To drink from this, one must count on others to fill their cup and they must pour to fill someone else’s cup. The title of the piece is not to encourage someone to take on the task by themselves, but to remind the viewer that a good team works as one; they act as a collective.
